# VenturePath Acceptable Use Policy: Owner and Counsel Review Copy

Use VenturePath only for lawful, authorized venture planning, education, research, collaboration, and related professional activity.

You must not:

- submit personal, confidential, research, or third-party material without authority and an appropriate lawful basis/permission;
- upload minors’ data, special-category data, government IDs, payment credentials, health records, or regulated data unless a separately approved workflow explicitly permits it;
- fabricate interviews, customers, traction, financial actuals, approvals, certifications, citations, impact results, or legal compliance;
- use AI to impersonate people, create deceptive evidence, target protected groups unfairly, or make unreviewed high-impact decisions;
- conduct covert surveillance, scrape restricted personal data, send spam, or violate direct-marketing/consumer rules;
- infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
- harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate, or facilitate illegal or harmful activity;
- probe, attack, overload, bypass, reverse engineer, introduce malware, steal credentials, or evade authorization/rate limits;
- share credentials or treat invitation links/team codes as authority;
- use program/team contribution information for employment, grading, funding, or investment decisions without a disclosed, validated, human-reviewed policy; or
- resell, white-label, or represent VenturePath as a certified or professionally approved planning service without permission.

VenturePath may limit or suspend activity to protect people, data, or the service. Except when unsafe or prohibited by law, the user should receive a reason and appeal path. Reports should go to `[INSERT ABUSE/SECURITY CONTACT]` and exclude unnecessary sensitive data.
